Video and Sound Production - Project 1
Week 4
Audio Dubbing
I first imported the muted scene into Premiere Pro, then I added the voicelines and sound effects into the timeline. The tracks were separated to make it easier to edit the audio. They were divided so that each character has their own track, another track for the sound effects, another for the transition sound effects and the last one for ambient noises.
Audio Dubbing
We were given a muted video clip from the movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and tasked to dub over the video and add suitable sound effects. We were also divided into several groups and told to work together.
First, we had to make a spreadsheet of the different scenes and list down all of the lines, sound effects and ambient sound needed for the scene. We then needed to record the lines and find the sound effects online to use in the audio dubbing exercise.
Here is the link to the spreadsheet: Project 1 Audio Dubbing Spreadsheet

The audio was then edited according to the spreadsheet. The video will then be rendered and uploaded to YouTube.
