We had to make a shot list, draw up a storyboard, film everything, and edit together a short video and we needed to use one kind of visual effect in the video. I was grouped up with Racheal for this Project. I made the shot list and storyboard for the video. After a few consultations with Mr. Martin, we made the story for the video better. Week 2 - Week 7 / 30 April 2025 - 4 June 2025 Omar bin Shafik / 0371439 Video and Sound Production / Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Instructions Project 2A Lalin Short Colour Correction and Grading Using the Lalin short we edited together from the exercises, we were to do colour correction and grading to make it look more consistent. Fig 1, Project 2A Process 1 I first started on colour correcting the clips already on the timeline. I adjusted them so that they looked consistent in terms of lighting, saturation, and contrast the best I could. Fig 2, Project 2A Process 2 I then made an adjustment layer for colour grading. Week 4 Audio Dubbing We were given a muted video clip from the movie Everything, Everywhere, All at Once and tasked to dub over the video and add suitable sound effects. We were also divided into several groups and told to work together. First, we had to make a spreadsheet of the different scenes and list down all of the lines, sound effects and ambient sound needed for the scene. We then needed to record the lines and find the sound effects online to use in the audio dubbing exercise. The tracks were separated to make it easier to edit the audio. They were divided so that each character has their own track, another track for the sound effects, another for the transition sound effects and the last one for ambient noises.
