PROJECT 2

PROJECT 2A
Week 7:
For this task we had to create an image using double exposure first by following the video tutorial given and second by ourselves using and image of ourself.

Exercise 1:
This is where we followed the tutorial and made an image using the materials given.

Exercise 2:
This is where we had to use our own image and apply what we learned.

PROJECT 2B
Week 9:
For this task, we have to create a design for the upcoming Taiwan International Student Design Competition with the theme of equality. I initially created a sketch for the competition right off the top of my head.

Fig 3, Poster Sketch 1

For this sketch, I envisioned an ideal learning space. Equality comes into play here because I believe students need to respect their teachers just as teachers need to respect their students. This, in my opinion, is because learning is a give and take situation. Teachers, I believe, learn from their students just as much as their students learn from them.

This is another sketch I did where I tried to follow the same theme as the last sketch.

After the tutorial on 26th June though, I wanted to change the way the poster looked but I still wanted to keep the theme of a "learning environment" somehow.

I ended up going with the second sketch and started work on the poster.

Week 10:
I started by looking for a picture for the blackboard on the Internet and then did everything else digitally. I added the drawing myself and gave them a chalk like effect to make it look more natural.

Week 11:
I finished the poster.
